I have recently helped a friend upgrade an Acer desktop (Acer Aspire ME - AME600-EB398) with a new power supply and graphics card (Galaxy 660ti) and I am not able to disable the onboard graphics. The old graphics card was a 630 and worked fine as the primary card on boot but now the system seems to boot using an internal/onboard display as the primary display and does not recognise the 660ti until windows loads.
Here are the step I've taken so far:
1) Verified that the system boots on the 630 card as the primary display after all other messing around was done.
2) Gone through the motherboard bios to see if there is an option to disable the onboard display but there is no display control on the mb at all...
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get the system to boot on the 660ti?
