Good PSU from a 7870?
Mar 1, 2013, 6:53 PM
I'm interested in buying a 7870 this weekend. I know that I need to upgrade my PSU, so what would be a good one to buy that would support a radeon 7870?

What is the rest of your rig/build?
I would look into getting a 7870XT over an 7870/7870ghz
I would get a PSU like this one, it has the same 12v rail as most 600w psu's have and is a seasonic model)

Definitely get at least 500 watts. Definitely shoot for an 80+ certified psu, as that will save you money on your power bill.
