New GTX 650 Buzzing Sound

Hi

I bought a new EVGA GTX 650 ti SSC card today and from the moment I turned the computer on it made a buzzing noise. The noise can be heard from 2-3 metres away from the PC in a fairly quiet room. I should mention at some angles I cant hear it at all. It sounds like the fan spinning pretty fast.

I'd just like to ask if this buzzing sound is normal? Should it be this loud?

Maybe I exaggerated a little, it's very faint at 2 metres.

Try stopping the fan with your finger, press against the hub rather than jabbing at the blades. See if the fan is the cause.

If not, it could be coil whine, see if the sound continues when playing a game. If it bothers you that much you can return the card for it.
