Screen stops moving

Hello,
I have been having an issue since I installed my Radeon HD 5570 graphics card on a new computer. The screen freezes up, taking no input from the processor or something, for a good several seconds. It doesnt go black, it just freezes in place. Any idea how I can fix this? I also wonder if maybe the processor is the reason, but it started after installing the card.

yes, multiple times, but nothing is working that I have tried.

I exclude the possibility that this is caused by the processor.. Most freezing issues come from RAM, hard drive and some times the graphics card. Did you buy the card in brand new condition?
