Crucial DDR 512mb went down $20US to $170.99!

I hope this is the start of a trend....

heheh either way, I knew his point and I do like the price drops going on. I do hope it does go on for all RAM, I could then afford a 512MB stick easily.

Hey hey! Crucial did it again!!

The price for a 256 stick of DDR went from $85'ish down to $69.29!!! Yowza!!!

I hope it's just the start! (the 256 stick was at $96 before the first price drop last week...

Blasted, is it only for DDR memory or something? I keep track of this one stick of PC133 SDRAM, and it hasn't budged from it's $85 spot. Oh well...it's not like I'm in the market for another stick of memory. 512MB is plenty for me.

Yep. It doesn't seem worth going beyond 512 PC133. If you want to go for more you're as well as going for DDR & a new mobo.

I think I'll wait for the prices of 512MB sticks of PC2100 to drop a bit.

its been real screwy lately. I had a 15% off link that expired a few weeks ago, and with the link it was about $71 for a 256 stick if PC2100, which means normal price ~$83. Then my link expired and I checked the normal price and it was $96, went up from 83!!!

So now it looks like it went back to its 85ish level, not really a price drop just returning to a previous low (still a good thing dont get me wrong). But as far as 69.29 for a 256 stick, where do you see that? I see 85.49 <A HREF="http://www.crucial.com/store/listmodule.asp?module=DDR+PC2100&Package=184-pin+DIMM" target="_new"> HERE.</A> Do you have a discount link you can share with us? =)
