Hi,

I would like to know, can my graphics card can handle Assassins Creed III?

My PC Specs are:
Win 7 (SP1)
Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0
4GB Ram
512MB HD 3450 Graphics Card, with Directx 10.1 & Shader Model 4.1

Minimum System Requirements

■Supported OS: Windows Vista (SP2) / Windows 7 (SP1) / Windows 8
■Processor: 2.66 GHz Intel Core2 Duo E6700 or 3.00 GHz AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ or better recommended
■RAM: 2 GB (4 GB recommended)
■Video Card: 512 MB DirectX 9.0c-compliant with Shader Model 4.0 or higher (see supported list)*
■Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c-compliant (5.1 surround sound recommended)
■DVD-ROM: Dual-layer drive
■Hard Drive Space: 17 GB
■Peripherals Supported: Windows-compatible keyboard, mouse, optional controller (Xbox 360 Controller for Windows recommended)
■Multiplayer: 256 kbps or faster broadband connection

Supported Video Cards at Time of Release:
■AMD Radeon HD 3870 / 4000 / 5000 / 6000 / 7000 series or better
■NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT / 9 / 100 / 200 / 300 / 400 / 500 / 600 series or better
Laptop versions of these cards may work, but are not supported. These chipsets are the only ones that will run this game.

Main Point of this Discussion is these 2 lines, as mentioned in the ACIII Requirements.
"Video Card: 512 MB DirectX 9.0c-compliant with Shader Model 4.0 or higher"

Supported Video Cards at Time of Release:
■AMD Radeon HD 3870 / 4000 / 5000 / 6000 / 7000 series or better
These chipsets are the only ones that will run this game.

You see they only mentioned 1 card (3870) in the 3000 series. My card DO have the Dirextx 10.1 and Shader Moder 4.0 support, as mentioned in the System Requirements, but I'm confused, why they didn't mentioned.

Please tell me, Will my Card Support & Play Assassins Creed III ?

Thanks.

To be honest, I don't think it would run Revelations either. The card is so out dated low end HD6xxx perform much better. Even the CPU, the game does like CPU, and a dual core I don't recommend it, even tho it is in the requirements. Get a 5770 for cheap or 6770 or 7770, I wouldn't recommend much lower then that.

Absolutely not. You will need a new graphics card. You can probably scrape by with that CPU but the GPU is FAR too low. My GPU is marginally better than yours and the CPU is about equal and it cannot run the game.
