Best option for Gaming

I am simply wondering what kind of connection I should use for my high end gaming PC. Should I just buy a 100FT cat6 cord or use some other method to connect it? Any help is always appreciated. Thanks

ANY cable cat5/cat6 IS BETTER than wifi for ping in games...
