Graphics card not working

I just installed a 500w psu to my computer and that works well but the radeon 7770 does not work. when i plug it into the psu and turn on the computer large beeping noises come up. my old graphics card is a radeon 5660 and i cant find it on the mother board so i haven't taken it out but i have uninstalled it twice.

Well it would help to know what make/mode PSU you have. Is the beeping coming from the GPU or motherboard. Best guess would be the PSU. Do you have a way to test the GPU on a different PC?
