say..I want to play GameCube on my computer..
what would be a good convert card(dunno if thats how u call it)
to get... would be nice if it's a PCI card that will let
me record video n' watch TV also(if there is such thing)
or I think I'm going to get the ViewSonic VB50HRTV

^dunno if above make much sense, but any advice will be more than appreciated

I guess that would be ok, but only if you didn't want to use your A/V inputs for better picture.

Personally, I'd go with the ViewSonic VB50HRTV...I'm looking into getting it as well. Although, I don't really know how I'd hook my speakers through it, because I have 2 inputs (front and surround).
