Gtx 550ti amp causing hdd clicking noise

I recently purchased a new gtx 550ti to put into my pc, but when installed the hdd started making clicking sounds.

the sounds only appear when im doing something resource intensive. at first i thought it may be the drivers so updated them all, to no end.

Then i changed the psu still to no end, and finally i did a clean install. but still making the noise.

the noise is rather destinct though, it sounds like a halo sheild recharge followed by two clicks

pc specs:-
psu- g7 680w
cpu- amd athlon II x4631
grathics- geforce gtx 650 ti amp
hdd- samsung spinpoint f3 1tb
ram- 8gb

backup your important stuff ASAP if you have any on the drive, and get a replacement.
It is going to die soon

lol awesome its not even an old hdd, ive only had it about 6 months, i have a spare hdd i may try.

im not sure, but i was looking at getting a WD, the reviews on them seem much better than the seagates/ samsungs.
