I use a MN 700 base station as a router in conjunction
with a MSN DSL 1000 broadband modem. Everything works
fine until I try to download a large file. After
receiving 1-2 MB of data, the download times out.
(Actually, it doesn't time out, but the download progress
window indicates that receipt of the data has stopped.)
I think the problem is due to the fact that both the base
station and the modem usehave onboard NAT. The
documentation for both devices states that the user
cannot disable NAT in either device. The problem goes
away when I connect the modem directly to my computer's
NIC, thus bypassing the router. Any ideas?
