Hello,
I have a standard Dell 1545 Inspiron laptop running vista with Intel duo core processor and 4gb ram. Is it a straightforward process to upgrade to windows seven? If I get the windows seven installation disc can I do a clean install or are there any Dell bits and pieces to stop me doing this? Will I need any other drivers etc after the install? Thanks in advance

What do you want?

You can upgrade from Vista to Windows 7 or you can do a full install of Win7 or you can do a dual system install which will keep Vista while installing Window 7. So, what do you want to do?

Unfortunately, the registration and order period for the Dell Windows® 7 Option upgrade program has ended. https://win7.dell.com/
