Got an problem with Quake 3 and my Geforce 2 MX400 64MB vid card. AMD 1.4GHz, 512MB DDR, Win98SE with all updates, Detonator 4 XP drivers, and the three patches I could find at the Quake site.
Installs fine but when I try to play I get this long error message.

Reinstall the 1.30 patch for q3a. Should clear up the problem. Otherwise do a reinstall of quake. The problem you have can be caused by a 3rd party user interface that was designed for an older version (arenaspy is a common culprit).
Looks like you are running a really old patch of quake.
yep, the last line gives you the info thats needed, if reinstalling the patch doesnt work (which it should), I complete uninstall/reinstall of the game followed by the patches will sort it
