learning about gamecube

hi-

i am learning about the gamecube. i just got hired in electronics.
my question is i know the gamecube with the gbp allows you to play
all of the gameboy series but if you just have the gamecube what video
game category can you play? also if you have the gamecube with gbp
can you play that category in the previous question as well as
all of the gameboy series (gameboy,gameboy color, advanced, and (sp i
think)?

off topic (some of this stuff getting posted to usenet is sick)
one time i went off on a rant about politics. it was a mistake.
now i try and stick to topic. i really can learn lots from a group
like this at my job and i dont want to abuse the group and i dont like
seeing others doing so.
