Want To upgrade Palit GTX460 to something better

I have a PALIT GTX460 1GB Sonic Platinum, a ASUS P7P55 LX motherboard with PCI Express 2.0 x 16 slot, a Coolmaster HAF 922 case and a 850 w power supply. I have spent hours researching for a good upgrade for the graphics card, but it gets real confusing fast. Anyone have a good suggestion?
