Ok but i am worried that i wont get over 60 fps consistently with only one. I have another monitor that i could use....would that be worth the upgrade to sli for double monitors?
You won't get 60 fps consistently.
As an example, I've got an i7 3770k running at 4.5 gigs, and a Gigabyte GTX 670. In Far Cry 3 with all settings cranked at 1080p, I get around 50-55 fps. The 670 is overclocked to the point where it is comparable to a 680.
If you intend on playing Far Cry 3 or Crysis 3 at 60 fps, 1080p, and settings cranked, you're probably best off getting twin 670s if you intend on sticking with Nvidia.
