Desktop Graphics Card to Laptop Output

Hi,

I've a Graphics Card HD3450 512MB on my Desktop PC. I use it for Gaming Purposes. I would like to know, is it Safe & Possible, if I Connect my Laptop (HP G6 Pavilion) with my Desktop PC for Gaming Purposes, using a VGA to VGA Cable?

So the thing is, When I will play games like Hitman Absolution, Assassins Creed Revelation or some other on my Desktop PC, the Display will show on my Laptop.

Is it Safe Or will it Harm my Laptop Display?

Most laptop connection are output only. Check you laptop manual.

Can the VGA port in laptop be used for this purpose? I've tried to attach the monitor with it & the laptop display also shows on the monitor screen, along with the laptop.
