I have windows 7 and compaq 420 laptop. I just pressed the wireless key accidentally and since then my wireless is disconnected. I tried releasing the IP and i am getting messag as "no operation can be performed on wireless network connection while it has its media disconnected"


please help .. Sam

Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

You need to turn it back on. If it's a function key with the wireless icon, press that one and the Fn key to the left of the spacebar at the same time.
