Hey Guys,

New to Toms Hardware and I'm looking for some advice on a rig I'm building at the moment, It's sort of half finished, below are the specs and parts;

Asus Z77 Motherboard
Patriot Viper Black Mamba RAM (1600MHZ, 16GB, 8GB X2)
Intel i7 3770K (Stock clock)
Corsair CX750M
SAMSUNG 840 Series SSD (256GB)
Noctua NH-D14
Thermaltake Commander MS-I Snow Edition

Looking for two graphics cards to run in either SLI or Crossfire,

Preferably NVIDIA to run in SLI but I'm down for any suggestions,

I was thinking two GTX 660's to run in SLI?

Mainly a gaming rig but doing some AutoCAD work and stuff like that.

Got around a limit of £400-500 for graphics cards.

Thanks in advance.

Panzerleech.

I would run 2 7870 xt cards about as fast as a 7950, but if you can pick one up for about 250 you should be ok, if not then get 2 regular 7870 cards, they will perform better then the 660 in some games, but in others the 660s will do better. All up to you
