Go for the 7970. It performs better in most games, runs cooler, and will overclock better. Also it is quite a bit cheaper, so I feel that it is the obvious winner.

Vapor-X is way cheaper compared to the GTX 680 Top. So you go for the cheaper card that you can OC and save money.

Get the 7970, but if you are a fan of nvidia, there are other gtx 680 that are cheaper, the TOP asus version are a marketing gimmick

The 7970 is the better choice here. It games just as well(most often better than the 680) and is also a bit cheaper. Just like mentioned before, you can also overclock for better performance.
