Looking For Graphic Card 560ti or Better?

Hello. I am soon going to be upgrading my Graphic card soon from a GTX260 so i can play certain games in HD with some nice FPS. The GTX260 isn't bad but since the games i am playing are getting more fps intense and i can only play on low detail to keep over 40-50 fps on them i will be upgrading and would love to play in High Detail always or most of the time. I would even be happy playing on low detail and keeping over 50/60 fps :)

I have only a single GPU slot so i am thinking of upgrading to a 560ti as my budget is about £120 maybe abit less. Will be getting 1 off eBay so if anyone can find a nice one on there and leave a message or if you can just tell me what graphic card is better than 560ti within my budget. The 560ti looks the best as i have looked on TOM'S HARDWARE at the graphs and seems to be the highest with it being quiet cheap.

Anyway i am wondering is there any graphic card that is better than the 560ti with the same price range of up to £130? Even if its AMD or Nvidia i just want to get as much performance for my money. All the Help is much appreciated. Thanks.

Edit: Meant to say "The 560ti looks the best as i have looked on VideoCardBenchMark website and seems to be the highest and cheapest graphic card" on the second paragraph near the end.

Here is a general performance benchmark over a large number of games

I would rather take the 7850 1GB over the 560ti unless you like pHysX games

If you have the cash, also consider the 7850 2GB, will be useful at 1080p high/ultra in some games

Well i think i will go for Nvidia as i do like the PhysX settings when it's on some games. At the moment i have put everything Max Quality on Nvidia Control panel and put lowest settings on the game settings and it seems like its in High Detail and i am still getting around 40-60fps.

Guess i will look at getting either

560ti - Not sure what one would be best out of these two.
650ti - Not sure what one would be best out of these two.

660 - will have to save abit more money to get one of these if i do intend and i know this will be worth it.

Also what make is the best? or offers most performance or something..

MSI
GIGABYTE
ASUS

Not sure if there are any others and if they are better built. Thanks for replying :) Also if anyone or you could reply to the question above this of which one i should get?

560ti / 650ti or a 660 but will have to save abit for the 660 and probably won't upgrade my graphic card ever again.

can you get a 6950 or 7850 for the same price?

I had a couple of 560's and they are nothing more than a gas guzzling, under performing glorified 260. Only had either one in my hand for less than 2 weeks I think.

if you get a new card, and you game at 1600 res or above, get a card with 2gigs of vram.

question, how do you know you're not cpu bound? what's the rest of the hardware?

Well Here is my Specs but i didn't buy the pc my brother did as my old one failed so i had to replace everything apart from the graphic card... got it all installed from the place i bought the stuff.

Used to have dual monitor 17" but upgrade to 1 screen / 1400x900 res which is good enough for me. May end up getting a 2nd 1400x900 monitor.

CPU: AMD FX(tm)-4100 Quad-Core 3.60ghz
Ram: 4gb / 3.25gb usable
System: 32bit Windows 7 (might upgrade to windows 8)
PSU: 550w xfx core edition
GPU: GTX 260

Think thats everything... Don't have loads of money to spend so thats why i am just wanting a nice GPU upgrade. I was thinking 560ti as i like nvidia physx and use nvidia 260 for that.

I did buy a 5870? or something for my friend as he has never had a graphic card and needed something to make games run smooth. 5870 or whatever it was is the same as gtx260 maybe abit better. Got that for £35.

Anyway as your saying 560ti not worth it? So should i just go for the 7850?

Sorry meant 4850 not 5870. Can't really remember it because i gave it to friend. Anyway that one is about the same as mine.

Well since nobody wants me to get that 560ti which one should i get out of these?
I do like the physx stuff so i may end up just getting the 660 as it is better i think?

(not sure if msi is better than gigabyte) !!GTX 660 2gb - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/360564933762?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

Well i think i'm going for 660 but ill see what you guys think.

Will just have to save up abit more and sell my gtx260 i've had for about 6month i think.

A 7870 LE is the same price, and the two are miles apart in performance. Physx is an utter waste of time, its only supported in a handful of games and is not worth buying a much inferior card for.

Okay.. I will buy a 7870 LE? Is that the best i can get for around £140-£170? Also if it is. Any chance anyone can post a link where one costs that much so i can buy it when i can afford it? Thanks.
