Hi everybody,

I have small micro-atx box (Advance 24*24*16) where I want to train on blender (3D). I need a graphic card.

My motherboard : P5G41T-M LX3 http://fr.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_775/P5G41TM_LX3/ - P4 - Memory 4 G - OS (32 bits) : Xp-Sp3 and LinuxMint Nadia.

I am ready to change OS (64 bits on W7 or 8 and LinuxMint), the alimentation (electricity supply ?) and, if needed, my motherboard (I cry).

I found the SAPPHIRE 100357LP Radeon HD 7750 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready Low Profile Video Card.

I don't find anything as PCI Express 3.0 x16 on my motherboard. Can anybody explain me what is it ?

Thanks

Jacques

P.-S. Sorry for my poor English.

Hd 7750 is best low profile gpu.you have pci exp slot works at pci 1.1 speed and you can put any gpu.pci exp are backward compaitable with older pci exp and there will no performance loss if you put pci 3.0 hd 7750 in your mobo

Thanks ASHISH, I love your answer. But I understand this : if I want pci 3.0 on a motherboard I have to by a new one.

I forgot to tell I will change the CPU, Core 2 Quad probably.

Regards,

Jacques

I hope I will receive soon my 2 "Kingston KVR1066D3N7/4G Mémoire RAM DDR3 1066 4 Go KVR + CL7". I will have the same motherboard in an Antec one hundred. The second hand core 2 duo E 8400 is ok. On the shelf beside me I have the Sapphire Radeon HD 7750, an Aurum (Fortron, Fsp) 500W gold and a WD Western Digital Caviar RE4 500 Go SATA 3Gb/s. It will be dual boot 64 bits (Linux Mint / W7 home premium).

Thanks for your help, Ashish.

धन्यवाद

Jacques
