SLI with two different GTX 680s?

Hey forums. I am thinking about purchasing this card : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127672 , but I have this card now : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127695 . Can I SLI with those two cards? I assume I can because both of the cards core clocks are identical, but I don't know for sure. I have a 850W power supply. Thanks a lot

should have no problems as long as they are the same vram sizes. the speeds do not matter. my cards were different speeds and overclocked them both to match each other

There you have it. There was once a technology called coolbits that allowed this, but apparently it's no longer part of the driver release.

The thing is, they used to have this info posted on the Geforce.com SLI FAQ page. They've removed it within the last few months.

I've noticed that stuff has gone missing from their site, I was looking for info on 2d Surround the other day and all the setup guides seem to have gone AWOL.

Ahh well there it is. I thought the clock speed mattered but looks like I will have to purchase another gtx 680 4gb. Thanks everyone!
