So I am going to be building my first computer here, real soon. Here are the specs so far.

Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth z77
CPU: Intel i7-3770K
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2 x 8GB @ 1866MHz
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB

I am stuck between the two graphics cards.
The EVGA GTX 660ti Superclocked

and the Asus HD7950-DC2T-3GD5 Radeon HD 7950 Video Card

(I changed the card. I had put the wrong one one here)

Which one should I get and will give me the best performance? Please help!!!

The 7950 will perform better at stock speeds. It also has 1gb extra ram, which will help in high res gaming and multi monitor setups which you may have someday, overclocks better, and is cheaper. It seems to be the obvious choice here.

I changed the card. I put the wrong one above. Would the new one still perform better?

Ehh that's a 3 slot card, and I prefer other manufacturers, but it's your choice. My favorite is the sapphire vapor-x 7950.

But if you don't mind the size of the card, the performance hasn't changed, so I would definitely still go with this one.

If you give us your budget and country where the parts will be purchased, we could throw together a build with higher $/Performance.

If you are set on the components you have listed above, the 7950 is better.

XFX is fine. They had a problem with overvolting a while back, but that has since been fixed.

The i7 3770k has no real performance gains over the i5 3570k in any game, and 95% of applications.
You only need the Hyper-Threading (HT) in certain professional applications.

In my build, you could swap out the dual 7870XTs for a 7970 GHZ, but the 7870s are much more powerful.

Yeah you can't run 2 7870s on 620watts. I would get at least 700w, probably 750 for overclocking and headroom.

I personally don't like xfx, and the sapphire vapor-x card is the best on the market. It may not seem worth the few extra bucks but the added cooling and perfomance will make it very much worth it in the end.

The 3GB is useful for games like skyrim and more future proofe also required if multi monitor gaming
HD 7950 is a mighty GFX Card from AMD
The Asus HD7950 card you elected is the better buy.
Asus usualy uses very high quality components.
You can watch a review on youtube before purchase.
Goodluck :D
