Hey i was thinking of upgrading my graphics card soon , i have a 7870 atm , Would it be worth the upgrade to a 7970 at this point in time?

My comp specs are as follow please tell me if i can upgrade"

CPu Cire i7 2700k not OC - Will the 7970 bottleneck with this cpuu?

Case - Lan li PCk62 Dragonlord i think - Will there be enough room in this case for 7970?

CPU FAN - NZXT Havik 140

RAM - 8 gig of 1.6 or 1.65 volt not sure

PSU- Antec High Current Gamer 900 WATT = With the other stuf above listed in my system will there be enough power to run a 7970? I can see the PCiE- cables are 6pin+2 pin and there are 2 of them which means 8 2 pin

Thankx.

Nah there won't be any bottleneck. Unless you have money to throw, I wouldn't get the 7970. Better choice would be to wait for the next gen cards. But if you are dying for better graphics, the 7970 ghz would be a good choice. Your psu will still be overkill for all those parts. In fact you can run 2 7970's with no problem.

For the case, I think you will be fine. I fit my 7870 Myst edition (same length as a 7950) in my mid tower case. The antec 600
