Hello, aim running q6600 4gbram radeon 4870 512mb...now iam playing bf3 and arma 3 but i can only run on low setting and if i want little better graphics i need to play with 1766x1000.
Now i want to buy new card.Do you think games will be running better with card like GeForce GT640 2GB DDR3 for 60eur or Gigabyte GeForce GTX650 OC 1GB GDDR5 around 80eur?And i will buy 250gb ssd to.

The SSD will not help you in games, it will make for an overall better PC experience, and load some maps faster, but nothing as far as game performance. The gt 640 is a very low end card and it would be worse than your 4870. The gtx 650 will be about the same as your 4870 so don't waste your money. Save up for at least a 7850 or gtx 660. Here is a chart you can look at..

Normally, Don recommends that people move up at least three tiers when they upgrade. In your case however, since your current card has only 512MB of RAM, AND the GTX650Ti does well in BF3, getting that card may be a sufficient jump for you. Still, the cards larrym suggested would be better still, so it will depend on your budget. I like SSDs for their improvement to the total user experience, but a 128GB model (I'd suggest a Crucial M4, Samsung 830, or Samsung 840 Pro; no OCZ and not the Samsung 840) will cost less than a 250GB model, and may let you increase your graphics card budget. A 128GB system drive should be enough for the OS, and at least a dozen applications (including games) as long as you store your data on another drive.

Agree. SSD won't help with FPS at all. The money you save by not buying should be enough for you to get 7850/70 or 660.

tnx for all the answers...i saw that cards like gtx650 after 3 years are almost the same as my radeon(just dont sounds like jet) but games today need 512mb+ so i was thinking like ONUS said, that if i take card of 1gb for around 100eur,must be better then radeon512.
GeForce GTX660 2GB GDDR5 for *180eur looks ok but they have gtx660 from 180-300eur...first i will try to find any card with 1gb+ ram.1,2,3 years old and if i get better ingame performance ,I will take new card like u said(7870,50 or gtx660) and if my mobo dies l can put card in new pc for few years...tnx and sry for my bad english
