Overclockable graphics card??

Well, to start off, (If you know about overclocking, skip to next paragraph) is when you speed up a component on your computer, to achieve faster performance then what it could originally do. (Please correct me if im wrong)

Now, The way graphics card overclocking works is the same as anything else, but, its a different proccess. For most cards, there are programs (Like Afterburner, EVGA Precision, Catylst,) which makes it easy, basically, sliding a bar across a line to speed up the clock. When overclocking, there are such things as artifacts. (Look at google images for them...) You can tell when you got one, its basically, the game does not look like it should.

Thats all i got in my head. There should be some threads on google to about how it works.
