Arctic Accelero Hybrid Thermal Adhesive + GPU

Hello,
I am planning to buy the Arctic Accelero Hybrid cooling solution for my EVGA 570 4gb FTW model. One of the steps tells you to use thermal adhesive on the VRAM on the GPU. The term "adhesive" is really scaring me, will I be able to remove the heatsinks on the VRAM if it's held on by thermal adhesive?? Thanks.

From what I know of the Thermal Adhesive it is hard to remove but you do not want the heatsinks to fall of as they can really damage other components if they come loose. You just need to take your time and make sure you are using the correct heatsinks on the correct place before you attach them with the thermal adhesive.

Thermal adhesive actually isn't really an adhesive. It should come off without damaging the vram.

If a problem were to arise and I had to return the 670 back to EVGA with its original fan (for warrenty purposes), I would be able to remove the heatsinks without damage for sure? I just want to make 100% certain here that thermal adhesive (not thermal paste) can be safely removed.
