Internet setup questions

I want to connect my pc wirelessly to the internet. I have a tp link wireless modem/router and a tp link wireless pc adapter. I was hoping to have the modem in another room connected to phone connection and then use the adapter to access the internet on the pc. Is this possible or do i need to connect the modem to the computer.

short answer is: It should be possible


make sure the phone plug in the other location has the DSL signal.

how many walls will there be between the new location and your PC?

did you install the wireless PC adapter?
