HD Graphic Card Search

Hello, I'm using an old desktop PC to connect to my new samsung LED D8000 via HD for watching movies and I'm looking for a good affordable HD Graphics Card to replace my on board one. Any suggestions.

Specs:
Pentium D 2.8
1GB RAM
Gigabyte GA-9456ZM-S2
PCI Express x16
400W power supply

I would recommend a Radeon HD7750. This card requires no external power, and draws all it needs from the PCI slot. It is a current generation card, so it's up to date. It's not a power-house by any means, but it will do what you need.

Thank you Dupontrocks11 for your quick reply. I checked it out and it looks very much in the line of what I'm looking for yet I would prefer something even cheaper, I am willing to lower my standards on the quality for a lower price.

Well here's a relatively cheap card, which will do what you need. This is the Honda Civic of graphics cards if you catch my drift. It won't beat many other cards, but it's reliable.

If it is just for movies, you can go even lower. Even the lower end older gpus will still handle 1080p 3D. But I'll suggest a 6450 as the lowest just to stay modern. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102933

The 6670 is not far behind the 7750. It is considered low end for gaming because the power required to game. But when comparing to other gpus it is in the top quarter. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-card-review,3107-7.html

Thank you all for your answers, yet all the graphic cards you have recommended require a PCI 2.1 slot which I don't have. I'm not sure what is compatible with what so here is my motherboard if you have the time to check it out I will sure be grateful

Pcie is backwards compatible so you are fine.
