I just ordered a nice three screen mount for three monitors:
((( http://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-media/product-gallery/B006JG9RQ2/ref=cm_ciu_pdp_images_2?ie=UTF8&index=2 )))

I have bid on a EVGA 580 1584 like I already own, so I can do the SLI mode.
While I do own one Acer GD235 monitor and can buy two more on amazon for only 500 bucks , I feel that
with my bad eyesight that I will not be able to have the three screens set up horizontally, as I would be not seeing anything to the
left or right unless I turn my head. my peripheral vision is very poor and I would like to have the three screens in portrait mode.

I took my monitor apart today to see if the screen could be mounted without the bezels, and it cant. I wish it
could have been like the Acer X203W, as that would have been perfect for me.
So forgive me for not knowing about all the different terms involved with monitors, but they are just too numerous. My monitor now
has a 2ms rate, but many of the acer and dells have 5 and 8ms rates. There is a 24 inch dell with a 8ms rate that has a bezel
that is only .035 wide and would be so much better then mine.....I cant run three of mine in portrait mode as the bottom part is over 2 inches
wide and that would be added on to the one inch side of another monitor.

So I need help in knowing what three monitors are the best deal for playing BF3. The only experience I have is watching videos
on youtube and never in person, so I just feel like I will love playing like this, but not horizontally, so what monitors can I buy that have
thin bezels but have good 2ms refresh rate, or will that really matter to me ? I dont use my nvidia 3D glasses very much, so I dont need
the three screens to be 120 hz.......some say that IS important, but the money just goes up and up with that. Sure 500 for two more
of my GD235 monitors and then running them horizontal is the cheapest and best way for me to go, but I just cant help but think I
wont see anything on the sides and I may as well just stay with one screen. 200 each is about my limit but 700 max for all three.

Advice about the different specs for the money and what you think will work for me will be much appreciated

Mike

No help from anyone here......oh well, too bad.

I bought the three Dells and the bezel is nice and small and I had to mod the mount I bought and now its great.
BF3 with the three screens is so awesome !!! I could never go back to playing with only one screen !!!
Now I just hope the Oculas Rift is ready soon.

Hi there! Hope I can help. Why don't you try this site:
http://www.squidoo.com/best-thin-monitors
It has different monitor options and details for each monitor. You might be able to find something for your pc there.

I thank you all very much, but as the deal was to be gone in a short while, I decided to go with it. The monitors are all in perfect condition with no dead pixels or backlite areas that are abnormal. Playing Battlefield three with the nvidia surround is such a joy, I dont think I can
ever go back to just one monitor again.

For the 599 delivered, I am very happy and the 4 gig GTX580 is doing a really great job and Im happy with that too.

After seeing the price of only 215, I guess this would have been a really great substitute, but the actual bezel looks to me to be about the same as what I have??? The response time is better on the one
you suggested, and I do thank you very much for the suggetion, Had I known about it sooner, I may have gone with your choice.

I need a 10 foot long DVI to Displayport cable in order to use my 4th ( top ) monitor, and I look forward
to being able to hopefully be playing BF3 on the 3 and have the 4th to show me how my computer is running.
If I have to, I can install my GeForce GT610 to run the 4th monitor to be able to run the game and do what I would like with the 4th monitor.

Thanks Everyone !!!

I have an Acer s240hl and really love it. The Bezels are extremely thin and would make for a great surround experience. You can pick one up on Amazon for $210.
