I have a nomad jukbox 6gb. It has worked great until today. I tried to load some music on it the creative player told me the memory was full and couldn't continue so when i tried to shut down the player it froze. said it was still recording. It got disconnected from computer but wouldn't shut down. The jukebox was shut down by unplugging the power cord. now when i start the player up it goes into preparing library mode and doesnt come out of it. is there something i can do to get out of this mode?

The creative jukebox zen and jukebox3 line of mp3 players have a Rescue Mode which allows you to perform tasks such as formatting the hd, reloading the OS etc. I have a 20gig creative jukebox zen and enter the rescue mode by holding in the play button then inserting a pin into the reset button hole. Can't guaranty this is the same for the original jukebox but no doubt it has some similar function, check your manual under trouble shooting Im sure it will have some reference to this.

There is no right and wrong. There's only fun and boring.
