Hiya,
I am currently using a Rampage 4 Extreme, I am looking into using the hotwire feature of the motherboard and want to see where the solder points are on the Diamond 7870. It is a reference card so it should be the same as all reference cards. There should be 3 pairs of solder points on the card. I have looked everywhere for the info but it seems i am not looking in the right places.

More about : hotwire diamond 7870pe52g

Asus's features are found in their ROG products mainly, the hot wire feature as I remember in one of the top end DCU II HD 7970 GHz cards, it's not in the Diamond.

my understanding was all refernce nvidia and amd cards can be hotwired with a rampage 4 extreme. The Diamiond 7870 actually have 3 pairs of solder points on the back of the board.

No it's mainly related to Asus cards, or any other card that has card voltage regulators. Check if your Diamond card has such a thing, which I doubt.
