Hey Guys, I am building a new pc and I am going to be video rendering and playing high quality games.
What graphics card will be best?

The AMD ATi Radeon HD 7750 2GB

OR

The 2GB Nvidia GT640?

Please give me an answer
Thanks in advance :)

7750 is a much better performer, just get the DDR5 version instead the DDR3

go for hd 7750 1gb ddr5 version

hd 7750 is way faster than gt 640 :D

If you are going to be playing high quality games, you really should stay away from mid range cards. I had 3 different mid range cards in the past two year and I was very unhappy with the results. For example I had the Radeon 6790 which outperforms the 7750 and the 640 and it was not good for playing first person shooters. You really should go with the 7850 or higher if you can afford it.

If you want a lower end card for gaming, then get a Radeon 7750 GDDR5 1GB. Don't pay more for a 2GB version (it will be slightly slower, not any faster whatsoever for gaming) and avoid DDR3 versions like they're a plague.

However, like swilczak said, unless you can't afford better and/or have another reason for being incapable if or refusing to get something better, I recommend a faster card. A Radeon 7850 is an excellent option, but the much cheaper Radeon 7770 is also a good option despite being almost as cheap as the Radeon 7750. The 7750's only advantage is lower power consumption allowing it to be used in systems that have no PCIe power connectors.
