HD 5870 Issue after Dual-display attempt

Hello,

Long time reader of this forum. I am posting as a last resort, hoping to get some help from any of you experts.

I am having a problem with my HD5870 card. It will not display after I attempted to connect two monitors.

Here's what I have attempted (and eliminated as the issue) so far:

-Removed and reseated the video card.
-Uninstalled video card drivers and also ran "drive sweeper"
-I connected my other card (HD4870) and everything works fine (eliminating mobo, cable, monitor)


When I power up the CPU everything runs normally, the video card fans and lights are running in the tower. The only problem is that the monitor will show "no signal".

Are there any other suggestions? Is there a setting somewhere that I have not considered, and need to reset to default?

Just an update, I installed the 5870 in another system and it recognized the HDMI output, but still no DVI recognition. I re-installed the 5870 into my main system and it is working fine with an HDMI cable, but still will not recognize either of the DVI outputs. Whatever, at least it's being recognized by the monitor again!
