Daisy chaining new wireless router off existing wired router

Hello,
I recently purchased a new laptop for additional home computing. My current/old desktop connects to the internet via wired router. To take advantage of the wireless capabilities of the laptop machine, I also purchased an E1200 basis wireless router. I prefer to leave my old wired config in place for my desktop.

So, is is possible for me to simply 'daisy chain' the new wireless router off an external port of the existing router, thereby avoiding the need to load additional software on the desktop machine?
