Usually the gold cdrs are the best but I haven't had much trouble with other cdrs. As for cdrws, stay away from the memorex ones. I've had trouble with not being able to erase them. Maybe other people have better luck with them.

Alright then thanks ya'll. But does it really matter of the quality of your CD-R or CD-RW? I mean does it make a difference with cheaper ones?...

Mitsubishi 10x/12x CD-RWs are great. I use them at my writer's max rewriting speed (10x). As for CD-Rs frankly I haven't got ANY problem even with the cheapest ones out there. All of the 24x rated media I've tried work at 24x without a hitch. But I mainly use Sonys and Samsungs. For very cheap media, try Datalife.

Well your DVD drive should at least play good quality CDRs right?....


Haha Crunch I'm not looking into DVD burners! They take so LONG to burn when the max write speed is at like 2x I think..
