Help me setup with Jerrold cable box??

I have a Jerrold DPBB7312 cable box---trying to set up my Tivo for the first
time.

I can't find an IR code that works to control the box.

At the rep's suggestion, I tried another Jerrold box, a CFT2014, and I found
a code no problem. But that's not the box I want to use with the Tivo.

He told me that the DPBB is a series that has a known compatibility issue
with Tivo, and he read it from a list, so I don't think he was blowing
smoke.

Do I have any options here?
