Hey Everyone:
Wanted everyone comments and suggestions:
A 80GB IBM ATA100 7200 rpm with 2mb buffer from Newegg for $118+7 shipping or
A 120GB Western Digital ATA100 7200rpm with 8mb buffer from Dell for $187 shipped?
I want so many harddrives but have so little money. By the way, lottery up to $220 million for those who saw my post on speakers.
Thank y'all.

Go WD with the 8MB "JB" model - Newegg has them for $183. Just search on "WD JB" without the quotes.

I thought a thought, but the thought I thought wasn't the thought I thought I had thought.

avoid the IBM go with the WD. If you wanted to pay a bit more you can get one with a 8mb cache.

Yeah, I see em for $217US shipped which is a bit much if you want 4. Still a reasonable price though for the quality of the drive =)

Yeah, they must have upped the price - they were $183 when I posted, but I just checked and the price has changed.

I thought a thought, but the thought I thought wasn't the thought I thought I had thought.
