it was possible to play online games like CSS and Legaue of legends without pinging out like a year ago, but i just cant play them anymore since i lagg when i enter a server. Its just so unstable. any suggestions?

Sounds like your problem is too many others on the network sharing the bandwidth, are you playing wireless? You can try to optimize a wireless connection if you control the router with QoS settings. Also, check with inSSIDer to find the least interfered channels.

Pingtest.net is a good check for latency issues.

^ +1. If you can re-arrange your network setup so that the computer you are trying to play these games from is on a wired connection instead of wireless (assuming that's how you are set up now), definitely try to do so.
