BLOCKED VOIP

Hi all,
I hope this is the right place for this topic
I use Teamspaek and Vent for in MMO game talk during instances/raids. Reacently, the isp has blocked all VOIP software. This is making life and gaming very difficult.
My question is there a way to get around this ISP block?

I don't think there is anything you can do unless the servers you use are willing to change ports. However, if your ISP is that ignorant you should change! You never know what an ISP like that will block next. . .

They may be blocking the VOIP protocols themselves, rather than a specific port. Regardless of what they are doing, if they won't unblock it I would just change ISP's.

Does your ISP also provide local telephone service by chance? If so, that's probably why they are blocking VOIP traffic.

In theory, there are 2 companies. Unfortunately the first 1 dictates how things should be run and it provides both the telephone lines plus internet (government company). the seconds 1 is mainly as wireless and follows what eve regulations are formulated bu the first 1 .

I suppose they also block VPN connections? That is all I will say. . .
