Wireless card + Network card

This is probably a simple question but I can't seem to find a clear answer anywhere really, so someone taking 5 min to say yes or no would be awesome thanks.
I'v always run wired connections but iv just moved into a new place with some friends and the building isn't wired and due to the layout its a bit hard to run cords along the floor. So I'm looking at wireless cards, and I'v looked at network cards in the past, I'm just wondering if there is any quality network cards with wireless as part of them or if i would have to run a network card and a separate wireless card or if its even reasonable to have a network card as well (as in if it would even be worth the money). I'v been looking at the Bigfoot Killer 2100 but can't find anything to do with it and wireless systems.
Leaning towards the side of simply forgetting the network card and just having the adapter.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can offer some knowledge in the area.

your motherboard has a build in network card.

all you need is a wireless network card.

there is no combo card.

your OS will only use wired or wireless at a time but not both
