Your computer is only going to access one at a time. Are you wanting to use one as a repeater somewhere else in the house away from the other router? If that's the case, you have to set one as 'router' and the other as 'repeater'. But they don't get wired together.

I would also not recommend it in this setup since the Netgear is simply going to outperform your U-Verse router in speeds. If you have dead spots in the home, I would set up something more similar to this:

U-Verse ethernet to Netgear.
Buy 2nd Netgear and use as repeater talking to Netgear #1.

Don't use the Netgear N600 to add to the U-verse router wireless. Connect an N600 LAN port to a U-verse LAN port. Enter the setup for the N600 router, disable DHCP (only one can be on a network at a time) and apply. Enter the U-verse router setup and disable wireless, and save. Use the N600's wifi. You can use the other 3 N600 ports as a switch. DO NOT use the N600 WAN port for any of this

Don't to forget to put Wireless protection on your N600- I recommend WPA2-PSK for faster throughput.
