Rosewill RNX-N300 Not recognized

Okay, so I finally got a wireless card in today but my windows 7 is not reconizing it, even after installing the latest drivers. I have tried both PCI slots on my MB (ASRock 970 Extreme 3) and both lights are lighting up in each one. I even went into the UEFI to make sure PCI slots were enabled. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Have you updated and installed both drivers for the NIC and your motherboard as well?

When you have it installed, go into device manager. Is it listed under network adapters?

I finally got it to at least be seen and I have updated all drivers. but now I am getting no signal whatsoever. I created an ad-hoc network with my laptop right next to my computer and enabled ad-hoc connectivity on my wireless card and it still could not connect. I'm thinking it's DOA.
