Occasional yellow tint

For the past few days, my monitor has been displaying an occasional yellow tint. Sometimes for only a second or two, sometimes for a minute or so. So far, it's just a mild tint, but one time, it was fairly bright yellow for 2 seconds then returned to normal.

Anyone know what this is a symptom of? Thanks.

My best guess would be the electron gun screwing up in the monitor sending the wrong charge. Used to see something similar when I worked at TV repair 15 or so years ago, I was customer service dealing people coming in with screwed up sets. But seen a few with screwed up colors and had the gun changed, modern sets most likely work somewhat different, but the idea is still the same behind the picture.

Don't put money on it, it's just a guess.

its probly a loose wire in the monitor plug, i bet you could reproduce the problem by wiggling the cable.
