I have exams looming and have decided to try a new angle at revision.
I got a Mp3 player (512mb) for xmas, and had the idea of recording all
my notes onto here, then transferring it to an mp3, then learn via
listening.
I went out and bought a mic, everything seems to be working, but I have
no idea if there are any programs out there that can convert to mp3, as
WAV files would fill up that 512mb in no time, leaivng lil space for
music etc.
Anyone know the best (free) program in which this could be done.
Thanks V Much!!!!

I think TotalRecorder ($12 from www.highcriteria.com) is a great
little program for quick-n-simple recording like note taking. It will
record directly to MP3. They make other related products like court-
room reporting, dictation transcription, telephone recording, etc. etc.
