I have looked and listened to many sub-woofers and am at a loss.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a reasonably priced ?(~$300)
sub-woofer?

I am considering the JBL Northridge Series E250P, the Yamaha YST-SW315, the
Paradigm line, as well as several of the Velodynes.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

- Russ

Stating what you are planning to match the sub up with, and how, might help

Sorry for the oversight.

I am using a Yamaha RX-V2500 (7 x 130W) 7.1 receiver. The front speakers
are Paradigm Studio 100s. The center and rear are Bose speakers that I am
also planning to replace.
