The AP can be something like this HERE,

and the antenna can be one of these HERE.

The omni antenna supplied with the PicoStation2 works but being an omni pattern, it lacks punch. The Hawking antenna will connect to the PicoStation with no modifications and send the signal where you want it. If placed inside a building, in a corner, you can expect good coverage. The PicoStation is rated for outdoor use because it is weather-proof. It need no extra wires as it is powered by POE (Power over Ethernet), so a single network cable is all that needs to connected. The PicoStation acts as a bridge or access point. If used outdoors, expect about 1 mile of useful service using the Hawking antenna, line of sight.
