WinXP Problem with Games... Please help..

I know this message bourd is for hardware problems mostly but alot of people post here so I figured I would ask. Does anyone else have problems when running a game and then closing the game and your WinXP Desktop isnt in the right position. It seems as if the resolution stays at what it was in the game. Anyone know how to fix this?

I have the same problem on my old system! Its a k62-300 with a shitty 4meg video card and a 12mb voodoo2 that doesn't work properly in WinXP. I just put it down to the old video card. As soon as i have enough money for a geforce3 or 4 i'll put my mx-400 in my old machine and hope that fixes the problem.
