So is 512 MB of PC4200 RDRAM equal to 1GB PC1066?

According to what I've been reading, it says PC4200 RAMBUS will use two single channel PC1066 in one module, creating a maximum bandwith of 4.2 GB/s.

Does that mean if I bougth one module of 512MB PC4200 RDRAM, it would be equal or surpass 1 GB (two 512) of PC1066 RDRAM?

No, for the same reason a 20GB ATA-33 drive is not equal to a 10GB ATA-66 or a 6GB ATA-100. Sure it's faster, but the amount it can store is lower.

And the bandwidth of PC1066 RDRAM is also 4.2 GB/s.

To attain 4.2GB/s, PC1066 RDRAM needs to be installed in dual. RIMM 4200 is 32-bit providing 4.2GB/s bandwidth with only one module installed. So, it's more flexible.
